Hi Greg, congrats on your PwC internship. I know you said that they recruit for accounting on campus, but I was just wondering if you knew about the recruitment for marketing majors? Are there equally as good opportunities for internships and careers? Good luck with everything.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure about which specific companies recruit on campus for marketing students, but there is definitely lots of opportunities to network and meet companies that have internships. The career center sends out a weekly newsletter with a listing of all the companies that will be on campus that week and they also announce positions at various companies. As a marketing major, you can get involved in things like AMA (American Marketing Assn) and Delta Sigma Pi (Professional Co-Ed Business Frat) that have a plethora of opportunities for networking and meeting companies that are constantly looking for siena students. I have a few friends who are marketing majors one of which got a marketing internship with St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital and another who got an internship with a big event planning and PR company in nyc.
